About This Opportunity

The Director of Financial Services is responsible for managing the Financial Services product catalog for the Asia PAC sales team. This individual will work alongside the Asia PAC sales team to identify opportunities for the financial product assortment and modify product features to compete in the Asia PAC market place. The Director Financial Services is responsible for defining, refining and managing the product and customer launch process for Financial Services products within the region, as well as setting out a 3-5 year strategic plan that takes into account current and future market trends in the Asia PAC region, whist aligning and working with InComm’s Global Financial Services strategy.

Responsibilities

Serving as a liaison between the sales team and all other InComm teams, the Director Financial Services will have accountability of the following processes:

  • Working with the sales team to propose pricing models for product lines and/or custom programs
  • Securing approval of the pricing model through with the finance team
  • Working with legal to build and deliver necessary approval and documentation
  • Working with banking and regulatory entities on behalf of Financial Services to effectively deliver programs to market
  • Working with all internal operations and technology teams to set timelines and project manage the launch process of FS products.

 

The Director of Financial Services will participate in analyzing performance of the portfolio to identify customer trends and behaviours and work with sales executive management to refine pricing models and product mix based on this analysis. The Director Financial Services primarily interfaces with Strategic Accounts, Strategic Partnerships and the InComm Financial Services team, as well as managing external relationships with scheme providers, processors & license holders

 

Financial Services in InComm refers to products such as:

Financial Gift Cards: non reloadable prepaid cards that are activated at a retailer POS, and then redeemed through the scheme backing the card. Cards can be redeemed anywhere the association—for example, Visa®--is accepted.

General Purpose Reloadable (GPR) Cards: prepaid financial cards to which a consumer can reload funds ongoing. Cards are redeemed as per non reloadable cards.

Qualifications

 

  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Proven Project/Program experience
  • Proven ability to grow account revenue thru activities such as product expansion, promotional opportunities or program implementations
  • Experience analyzing sales reports and identifying trends
  • Proven ability to create and implement strategic plans
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload throughout multiple accounts and meet deadlines
  • Must be driven to identify and exceed customer needs and expectations
  • Ability to listen attentively, respond effectively and resolve account issues in a timely manner
  • Ability to act as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your accounts, including operational tasks
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Detail oriented and outstanding organizational skills
  • Ability to forecast, monitor, and manage inventory
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively across various internal organizations in support of account initiatives
  • Effective communication with stakeholders of all levels of the organization including executive and senior management
  • Comfortable learning new technology/product lines in a highly innovative environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
  • 30% Travel Requirement
  • 5-10 years of relevant industry experience (preferably related to managing a similar product or scheme in the FS industry)
  • Must be able to apply a clear understanding of InComm systems and policies
  • Other Tasks and Responsibilities as assigned
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
