About This Opportunity

The Account Sepcialist is responsible for supporting existing clients whose key relationship with InComm is through our gift card products and programs. The position is a combination of account and operations support in a client facing role.The Account  Specialist  will aid in maximizing opportunities to expand distribution of retail  gift card products, recommend additional account product offerings, engage accounts in promotional opportunities as well as other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned. 


  • Support assigned accounts; at times meet with card partners to understand their business strategy, understand new opportunities, review results, develop Advertising/Marketing Plans.
  • Supporting cyclical launches: inclusive of launching new products and existing products into new retailers, developing an execution plan, and delivering a launch on time
  • Analyzing sales data in order to make informed and strategic recommendations to accounts and to internal stakeholders
  • Perform inventory analysis and work with card parthers and internal stakeholders to manage inventory
  • Collaborate with Retail teams to assess opportunities and develop appropriate promotional plans
  • Work with Marketing and Retail teams to ensure that products are correctly communicated to the market
  • Implement best practices and work on continual improvements in all processes and documentation.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and changes, advise how these can be brought into the Company’s offerings/practices through sales and marketing strategies
  • Evaluate market research and identify and track market trends in Company's industry. Undertake competitive analysis to evaluate products with Company’s key competitors


  • 1-2 Years of experience
  • University degree
  • Business analytical skills and ability to use initiative to accomplish projects
  • Understanding of the prepaid/retail industries an asset
  • Strong inventory management skills and/or print production experience
  • Effective oral communication skills
  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in team environment
  • Fast learner & highly motivated individual
  • Strong computer skills at the intermediate to advanced level of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
