    About This Opportunity

    The Retail Account Manager will be responsible for overseeing relationships and activities for all InComm Europe’s & Tibidono’s key retail partners in the DACH region (Austria, Germany, Switzerland). Reporting to the Business Unit Director DACH region, the Retail Account Manager will be responsible for managing and developing existing retail and partner relationships in the DACH region. Accounts managed will include Tier 1 grocery and electrical retailers, and physical and eGift cards product partners.   Our product partners include a large suite of leading global brands.  The individual will be responsible for working closely with each account to develop category and promotional plans, negotiating commercial terms associated with launching new retailers and card products, optimizing card placement and maximizing execution and compliance in store, and for achieving targets set for sales, profit, margin, product mix, and new product launches.

     

    The Retail Account Manager, will be expected to work closely with the members of the product management team, who manage relationships with all InComm & TIBIDONO product partners to explore promotional opportunities and understand the specifics involved in managing the account requirements. The individual will be expected to build strong, high level relationships both externally and internally, whilst gaining complete understanding of the team and company’s’ goals, objectives, internal processes and business ethics.

     

    This role is based in Austria covering DACH region and requires in the DACH region on a regular basis, along with occasional travel to the UK and other European countries.   InComm Europe is a wholly owned subsidiary of InComm with offices in Whiteley, near Southampton & Salzburg, Austria operating across 15 different European countries. 

     

    Responsibilities

    • Establish strong relationships with existing retail accounts. Work with them to expand existing product range, maximise placement opportunities in store and develop promotions to support activities at specific times of the year
    • Interact with all key resource functions to manage projects through from end to end and ensure projects/launches are delivered along agreed timelines
    • Create regular reporting and analysis for each account, to assist in the review and creation of account plans for the year
    • Work closely with the Emerging Technologies team and Product Partners to co-ordinate specific marketing plans and measure effectiveness

    Qualifications

     

    • Knowledge of the DACH retail market and insight into the retail landscape
    • Ability to work equally well independently or as part of a team
    • Efficient and proactive
    • Effective negotiator with analytical skills to identify what constitutes a profitable partnership
    • Confident communicator with the ability to interact at any level
    • Highly organized with acute attention to detail
    • Ability to prioritise tasks while managing several projects & tasks simultaneously
    • Willingness to take ownership and drive projects from end to end
    • Sociable and able to quickly build valuable relationships both externally and internally
    • Ability to adapt in an ever-changing business environment
    • Willingness to learn and ambition to be successful
    • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project)
    • Must speak German and English fluently.
