    About This Opportunity

    The Project Manager will serves as a technical and business expert, able to understand, explain and support projects using any of InComm's multiple integration methods, toolkits and platforms.  We are also looking for professionals who are self-driven, excellent communicators and relationship builders.  The ideal candidate will also be bilingual in Japanese and English.  We are looking for candidates who have client facing experience along with a foundation in project management, data center builds, large scale migrations, and a keen understanding of infrastructure project lifecycles.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Manage and implement the proposed solutions for client partners
    • Support the sales team efforts by providing solutions and technical expertise and workflow assessments for business and client partners
    • Collaborate with the sales team or account team by acting as technical expert. 
    • Determine the technical requirements to meet client goals. 
    • Must coordinate the transition between pre-sales specifications and implementation engineering once contracts have been awarded.
    • Conduct assessments, mapping and walkthrough of the client partners’ environment to offer a solution that optimizes services/process
    • Help accounts to achieve better financial results, improve operational efficiencies, and reduce environmental impact.
    • Demonstrates initiative with the ability to seek out relevant information along with operating with a sense of urgency.
    • Manages the integration of new client partners, migration of existing client partners onto new platforms
    • Ensure delivery of projects to the business partner, meeting the approved scope/cost/schedule/quality for the project
    • Manages the configuration and minor development efforts associated with integration of new client partners and products.
    • Set direction for all resources at project level
    • Facilitate discussions with key stakeholders in establishing project requirements and goals.
    • Facilitate good communication between project team members during programming and throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Understand customer requirements and leverage in depth knowledge of InComm's standard portfolio to maximize utilization of existing specifications, procedures, and practices for new implementations and offerings.
    • Assist with project estimates through identifying new requirements and working with internal and/or external development organizations to determine estimated costs and execution timeframes.
    • Create Project charter for all projects, and contribute to the smooth transition from new opportunity to an implementation project
    • Build and maintain relationships with key executives in client partners and product sales teams
    • Required travel could reach 20% at times
    • Some international travel is required

    NOTE:  This is a fixed-term, 12-18 month contract position. 

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of minimum experience in Technical consulting and Project Management
    • Deep technical and operational understanding of fintech, payments processing, and POS systems.
    • Must have superior verbal and written communication skills, including ability to understand and communicate complex technical matters to a non-technical audience
    • Must have strong discovery and organizational skills
    • Prior consulting background and/or experience supporting internal and external customers
    • Experience evaluating Business Requirements and Project Schedules
    • Experience with Data Center builds and migration projects
    • Experience creating Business Requirements, Project Plans, Project Schedules and associated project materials
    • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many assignments and delegate
    • Expert understanding of software development and infrastructure project lifecycles
    • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many assignments and delegate
    • Ability to assess the impact of new project requirements on an existing team workload
    • Must be bilingual in Japanese and English.
